About Who Called It

Who Called It is a platform for private, group-based prediction challenges. Friends, families, and teams create private groups to make predictions about future events and track who was right.

Optionally, participants can add small contributions to challenges as a way to make things more interesting and hold each other accountable. Money here is a coordination tool, not the product.

By using Who Called It, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

Your Account

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Who Called It. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Account Security: You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Use a strong password and don't share your login credentials. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Accurate Information: Please provide accurate information when creating your account. We may need to verify your identity for certain features like bank transfers.

Groups & Challenges

Private Groups: Groups are private spaces where members can create and participate in prediction challenges. Groups are invite-only and controlled by their owner.

Challenge Rules: Every challenge has a lifecycle: it opens for predictions, locks at a specified time, and is eventually resolved with an outcome. Once a challenge locks, predictions cannot be changed.

Predictions: When you make a prediction, you're committing to your choice. Predictions are hidden from other participants until the challenge locks to prevent herding behavior.

Resolution: Challenge outcomes are determined by the group admin or owner based on real-world events. Resolutions include a source link for transparency.

Your Wallet

Wallet Balance: Your wallet balance represents money you've added that's available for challenge contributions. You can add to your balance or request a transfer to your bank account at any time.

Challenge Contributions: When you join a challenge with a contribution requirement, the amount is moved from your wallet to the challenge pot instantly when you make your prediction.

Payouts: When a challenge resolves, the pot is distributed according to the challenge's payout policy. Winnings are added directly to your wallet balance.

Bank Transfers: You can request to transfer your wallet balance to a linked bank account. Transfers typically take 3-5 business days to process.

Disclaimers

Who Called It is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Account Termination: You can delete your account at any time through your settings. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Effect of Termination: If your account is terminated, you'll lose access to the platform. Any pending challenge contributions may be forfeited. Positive wallet balances can be transferred out before account deletion.
